No team members are available on the booking form.
Team Filters #
The booking form automatically filters team members by several considerations.
- Role: Team members and services are assigned roles. Only team members who match the service’s team member role will be displayed. For example, a proofreading service may be assigned a role called Editor. When a client selects proofreading, they will be able to choose from team members who are Editors.
- Filter Fields: When a client creates a project, they complete the filter fields you have defined. Team members also fill out these fields in their profile. Only team members whose answers to the filter field questions align with the client’s answers will be available.
- Contract Status: If you have team member agreements enabled and you have chosen to require up-to-date team member agreements in your Legal settings, then only team members with active contracts will be displayed on the booking form.
Automatic Team Selection #
In addition to the filtering process, specific team members may be selected under certain circumstances:
- Freelancer Mode: If Freelancer Mode is enabled, all services will be assigned to the selected freelancer.
- Assigned Team Member: For each service, you have the option to permanently assign a team member to that service. Doing so will override all filters and will assign that team member to complete that service every time it is booked.
- Previous Bookings: If you have chosen in your settings to lock team members, the previously selected team member for each role will be assigned to that project going forward. For example, if a client books Editor 1 for proofreading and later attempts to book copyediting, Editor 1 will be automatically selected.
