Adjustment Fields

Sometimes you will have sub-options for individual services, and sometimes you need more information to be able to price a service. Adjustment fields allow you to efficiently adjust service rates without the need to create custom quotes.

On the booking form, when a client selects a service with adjustments, the adjustment fields will be displayed automatically. Examples of uses for adjustment fields include add-ons, complexity questions, rush options, and upgrades. With the flexibility of adjustment fields, you can allow clients to book fully customized services with only a few minutes of set-up.

When you create a new adjustment field, you will be prompted to select the form field type: dropdown or checkboxes. You will add a label and description for the field. Then you will add options. For each option, you will select the operator (multiply, add, or subtract) and the value. When an adjustment field option is selected, the rate will be adjusted accordingly.

For example, let’s say you offer a $100 consultation and create an adjustment field that allows the client to add more time. You could create an adjustment option for an additional half hour for $50. You would select “plus” as the operator and 50 as the value. Then, when the client selected that option, the fee would adjust to $150.
